Bidrage med feedbackI still find myself stopping by almost daily, primarily because it's located in the Barlow, which is both a benefit and a drawback at times. But make no mistake, the new Starbucks poses a significant challenge to the already dense coffee shop scene in Sebastopol. While many may think that a corporate chain can't thrive in a liberal town, the success of the former McDonald's location has proven otherwise. Remember, people get off the highways for convenience, so it’s important to take the new Starbucks seriously since they're only a mile apart, and there's another Starbucks inside the Safeway that attracts many high school kids. I want to clarify that my update isn't meant to harm this location. It’s just a suggestion that greeting customers and wishing them a nice day, even if it feels a little insincere, tends to be appreciated. Additionally, this place often runs out of sugar alternatives like Stevia and Splenda, which is something Starbucks consistently stocks. It’s quite frustrating to buy coffee only to be told they don’t have what I need. If I'm paying those prices plus a tip, I expect my coffee to be sweetened to my liking, especially since I can’t have regular sugar. Lastly, pastries tend to run out quickly. Given that other coffee houses are partnering with bakeries like Redbird and Retrograde, it would be wise for management to over-order pastries rather than under-order them, even if it means giving away a few at the end of the day. Customers remember when they wanted a croissant or cookie and found them unavailable. Again, this feedback isn’t about the baristas, but rather the responsibility of the owners.
The ambiance is definitely a perfect 10/10, but the coffee is quite pricey, and the wifi is too slow to be practical. Visiting this coffee spot mainly reminds me of the old Sebastopol, before the Barlow.
Fantastic atmosphere! I’m really enjoying the vibes here. The cappuccino is absolutely perfect! The chai tea is a bit on the sweet side, but I still highly recommend it. Overall, I’d give it a 10/10!
The atmosphere is great, and the lattes are smooth and delicious. However, I can only give it 3 stars because of the wait time and the prices—15 minutes and $11 for two 8oz lattes.
I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is fantastic. They showcase a variety of local artists, both on the upper floor and the ground level. Kudos to them for supporting local art!
