Sky Lounge - Santa Rosa

At the airport, fly-ins can park and transfer parking for free. Regular airport diner with regular airport diner food cept they have sushi... yes, sushi! I had cooked a cheeseburger to a perfect medium and the shrimp salad was very good! Service not on point and basically had to ask for everything.

Food was not bad for an airport restaurant. Definitely not fast. I don't think I would eat from the sushi bar, the person who was there looked like the janitor cleaning around the sushi. He was cleaning with chemicals around the area, wiping his face and nose then going back to touching stuff.

The staff either didn't see us (although I made eye contact with the bartender who was chatting with a server) or was uninterested in serving us. The food was fairly good, but as soon as our plates were 3/4 empty, someone came by to try to bus the table. The restaurant was only about half full.

I had an hour to board and was not very hungry. I ordered the boneless chicken wings. Upon arrival the meat was not thoroughly cooked, and it tasted of course like raw chicken. The fries were also dry as a desert. I will be speaking to a manager to get my funds back- as I had to run to my flight, and he was nowhere to be found.

A great little place to kill some time and eat before you fly out of Santa Rosa. The food is decent and the selection of local wines is nice if you didn't get a chance to fully explore wine country. If sit in the right place, you can even see when the ticket counter opens inside the airport.
