Mei-don Chinese Cuisine - Santa Rosa

The Chinese food here is quite good, and it's my mother-in-law's favorite spot for a family meal. During my last visit, I tried the Szechuan Beef and Prawns with eggplant, and both dishes were delicious.

We very much enjoyed our meal and the portions were very generous. If you live in the area or happen to be in the neighborhood, definitely give it a try.

Food was very fresh and good tasting. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was brought out hot. Overall, I would eat again at Mei Don.

The foods were significantly reheated and not freshly prepared.

We tried this restaurant when we moved here two years ago, and I had forgotten how disappointing it was. The prices are quite high, and the food is very greasy. I feel like they take advantage of the residents in Oakmont. If you’re looking for good Chinese cuisine at fair prices, I recommend heading to the shopping center on Calistoga instead.
