Peet's Coffee - Santa Monica

I visited Peet's on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica this afternoon and had the pleasure of being welcomed by the manager, Sean. I had a few questions about which decaf coffee would best suit my taste preferences, and Sean was incredibly helpful, friendly, and patient. He took a considerable amount of time to guide me through my options and provided valuable insights on how to grind the coffee to achieve the optimal flavor for my brewing method. He also explained how to adjust the grind consistency if I decide to try a different brewing technique in the future. As I'm not a coffee connoisseur, I truly appreciated Sean's willingness to share his expertise in such a warm and accommodating manner. He went far beyond simply making a sale; his service was exceptional. Thank you, Sean! I look forward to returning to Peet's soon.

Nice corner spot, friendly staff its got a lay back vibe if you want to enjoy good coffee I recommend a Havanna cappuccino

I came in for my doordash order. It wasnt in the spot to pick up orders, so I sat down. The man behind the counter, a very large and hairy man, asked who I was and said the order was ready. I said ok, then sat down again to wait until they put it out for me to grab. As soon as I sit down, the large man barks at me that means get up and get your order If you have a customer-facing job, work on your attitude, empathy and patience. I followed the rules at this location and did not start a problem. The large man was irritated that he had to serve me at all. I 'll go to another Peetz location in the future to avoid this angry, large man.

I like this place a lot. The only reason I take off one star is because their inside seating is limited, and sometimes as customers pile in it?ll seem super crowded. Because of this, sometimes you don?t have a seat (unless you want to ask other customers if you can share their table). But coffee wise and price wise this place is great!
