Still, the vibrant atmosphere of Venice Beach and the Santa Monica Pier make it worth every penny. Grab your corn dog, fries, and lemonade, then enjoy some people-watching while you savor each delicious bite.

As I sat there, I noticed the staff tasting the lemonade one by one, and they all seemed to agree that it tasted watery. Instead of coming over to apologize and offering me a replacement, they tried to keep it from me, possibly to avoid admitting the mistake. I approached the window and reminded them that since they acknowledged the issue, I expected a replacement for my drink. The girl reluctantly agreed. After a wait, the manager came to the window with a freshly mixed batch of lemonade. To my astonishment, he told me that since I had already consumed half of my drink, he would only fill my cup halfway! I was taken aback by this attitude. I handed the $7.50 half-water, half-lemonade drink back and left without it. The service I received was simply unacceptable.
