Farmer's Market Main St - Santa Monica

I buy every Sunday my food from this market and that doesn't change. they have a good selection of products and it is not great to find what they need.

I go as often as I can. so good quality. (Also check the carrot type, he gives samples

I was glad the animals were gone. only live music and a few vegan and vegetarian food providers in addition to some moderately high-priced products.

So my bf and I accidentally found this farmer market when we were on the way to the beach, and what a sound it was. I have never been on a farm market like this, there were several stands occupied by veggie restaurants, many stands with really good fruits and live music to round it off. I have to say I'm pretty jealous because none of the builders' markets in my city ever has a veggie place. when they are near the beach or main street, they will look at it. if you can't find a parking space near the farmer market, there are free parking at the sea, they just tell them that they go to the farmer market.

I come from a place with a famous farmers' market so I know one when I see one. This one is terrific. Lots of fresh fruits and veggies, most grown without pesticides, and several food stands. We tried two vegan tamales (spinach and artichoke plus green corn) from the Gourmet Tamale stand. Very fresh masa, good flavor, friendly service. We also picked up a wide variety of fruits and veggies that can travel because we were on our way home.
