Buena Vida Tea Garden - Santa Monica

Went here on Sunday after a hike and I was very pleasantly surprised how cute and charming the place is! The staff were all so nice and they even wore cute little tea hats. I got a chai tea latte and it was delicious but I was also recommended to try their spinach empanada. I highly recommend trying the empanadas, it was the best I've ever had!They also have a cute outside seating that you can reserve in advance or walk in if there's room. I loved all the plants and it just seemed like a cozy place to grab tea and chat with some friends! Definitely want to come back here!

I have passed by this place so many times and never noticed it. It's located next to the yogurt spot menchis which has now closed down. It has a small parking lot in the back. As you walk in, you'll be squished into a tiny cute shop, but walk further into the back and you'll be greeted with a serene garden like area to eat your food. The back can actually be rented out for small parties of 20ish people. They have very fragrant and delicious teas to sip and relax. The sandwiches are bite sized, all for snacking. Scones, cookies etc were all delicious.

So cute!! Definitely stop by if you’re in the area. I’ll have to try their high tea service one day.

Absolutely adorable tea shop! We had a quick stop on our walk while in this neighborhood. The back seating is super cute. The drinks were good, even with the boba being a little different then what we were used to. The ladies that works at front were super nice however, it took a while for us to get our drinks over 20 mins. We didn't see anyone ahead of us, so not sure why it took so long. Maybe new people? Either way everything was great and if I lived in the neighborhood I can see this place as a place I'd visit often!
