Pizza Vomito - Santa Marta

A restaurant called El Vomito (The Vomit) has taken our attention and our taxi driver explained that the place is a local legend. They made everything on the pizza that was so full, it looked like someone broke everything over him. We were intrigued, so we went one night and it was really good! We ordered a medium pizza and our family of five could hardly ever eat one piece. They have a fresh juice/smoothie bar on site and we tried several different shakes and loved them. The seating is quite basic and the service speed was average, and if you like strategic dogs and cats you will find here a few, but this is the case at most places in Santa Marta. Don't keep you from a great experience.

Pizza almost doesn't surprise me. We went there because a local has recommended it very much. He probably never ate a real pizza. To name this piece of dough and fat is an insult to any person with taste, and so is the high price. We still feel ashamed that we were too lazy to just turn around when we saw what people eat. We even made the mistake of ordering our vegetarian pizza with the special vomito sauce what we got: pizza with potato chips (the vegetables! and a fat mayonnaise sauce. Enough. Don't be stupid, don't go there.

This is probably the most disgusting, dirty pizza joint on Earth. I don't think you can call this trash pizza. Your fab topping, potato chips on a ketchup crushed Pita bread is simple and simple garbage food. Do not even consider stopping on this well-designed vomiting piece of garbage.

We were in a cab and I saw the name stopped and ate there pizza was really good (I'm from the Bronx, and we had real Italian Pizza there in the old days).

ESPANOL: El (31/12/15) fuimos a la sede ubicada en Santa marta a comprar una pizza tamaño familiar pero con algunas especificaciones. a la hora de pagar se nos hizo un poco costosa pero lo dejamos así. Al día siguiente (01/01/16) fuimos a cenar pero con la duda de preguntar cual es el precio real de las pizzas que compramos el día anterior. Llamamos al mesero que nos había atendido pero envío a una chica que no tenía ni idea sobre el menú. como sea, ordenamos nuestros platos y llamamos de nuevo al mesero. El mesero no quería venir hasta que después de 5 minutos decidió venir. Le preguntamos que nos hiciera las cuentas de las pizzas que habiamos comprado antes y muy rudamente nos hizo las cuentas y nos tiro la calculadora sobre la mesa. Creemos que solo por saber el precio real de las pizzas no hay razón de que el mesero haya actuado así. Esperamos que se tomen medidas sobre este chico ya que un empleado de este tipo puede hacer que el restaurante pierda reputación y por consecuente clientes. ENGLISH: (31/12/15) We went to buy to the second restaurant located in Santa Marta some familiar pizzas with some specifications. at the time of payment we thought it was expensive but we let it go. The next day (01/01/16) we went to have dinner with the question of the price we paid before. We called the waiter but he refused to come. Instead, he sent a waitress who didn't know anything about the menu. anyway, we ordered our meals and we called the waiter once again. He took 5 minutes to come but he wasn't doing anything just standing up. When he came, we asked him to rectify the price of those pizzas. He was calculating very rude and when he finished, he throw over the table the calculator. We think there's nothing bad at rectify the price again. and there's no reason why the waiter had this behaviour. We hope the manager or Director take the right procedures towards this employee because of this the restaurant will have bad reputation follow by low customers.
