Stefono’s Chicago Dogs And Italian Beef

I love hotdogs and roast beef sandwiches, and whenever I'm craving them I always go here. Great customer service, but the sandwiches are so good. For their hotdogs, they have different ways of building them, but my favorite is chili, cheese, and onions. Love the roast beef with all the fixings, grilled onions, and bell peppers. My only complaint is I feel they use just a little too much oregano in their gravy for the wet roast beef sandwich, but the rest is so good. I also had their connolis (they get a BIG YUM).

Never been to Chicago nor had an actual Chicago dog before so I'm not sure how legit this Famous Chicago Dog from Stefono's is but it was pretty dang delicious! The owner was friendly and helpful, and the service was fast. Prices were great too! I'm looking forward to coming back to try their Italian ice one day.

Been coming here for a while now. And today I saw people in the kitchen preparing food with no gloves. Someone else's bare hands is touching my sandwich. They are also using their bare hands to put frozen French fries in the fryer. No hand washing in between. Not coming back..... According to the owner. Cash handling then touching buns and their hands touching their hands pants then touching French fries is more sanitary.

Had the Italian Beef with Hot Peppers and it was amazing. Place is easy to find once you know where it is. I would be coming back to try other menu items when I'm back in town.

Best Chicago Italian beef sandwich I I have ever had. Great customer service. This is a must try place. Walk up to order, to go or outside dining only.
