La Vera Pizzeria - Santa Maria

I frequent this restaurant since I work nearby, and I have to say that the customer service is consistently excellent. The establishment is well-organized and tidy during my visits. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous.

Recently, I decided to try one of their sandwiches, despite not usually considering it my go-to sandwich spot in SM. However, after tasting their pastrami sandwich, I can confidently say I’ll be returning for more. I typically don't take the time to write reviews online, but I was so impressed by this sandwich, and considering how consistently great they've been to me over the years, I felt this was the least I could do. Oh, and don’t forget to try their buffalo wings! Be sure to grab some of their homemade ranch dressing for dipping your pizza, wings, and salads!

We visited this restaurant for lunch based on recommendations from many people, and it did not disappoint. The staff was incredibly friendly, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The food was outstanding as well. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely return. We highly recommend this place!

Having dined at numerous Italian and pizza specialty restaurants in New York, Chicago, and even Italy, I can confidently say that La Vera Pizza is exceptional. The quality is so impressive that it encourages you to take a moment to savor each bite. Every aspect, from the crust and sauce to the toppings, reflects the dedication and skill of the brother and sister who run the place. They really do serve the best, and that's what makes it truly awesome.

I ordered takeout from this place and went for a classic double pepperoni NYC-style XL pizza. I chose it based on Google reviews and its convenient location near my hotel. The price was reasonable, and the pizza was ready in about 20 minutes. My family and I found it to be quite good: the dough had a great flavor and a nice chewiness without being tough, the sauce had a hint of sweetness, and we really enjoyed the large pepperoni slices. It held up well the next day, even cold, which was very impressive. Overall, I’d definitely consider ordering from them again!
