Hamasato Japanese - Santa Maria

Always a delicious meal. only available for the departure because of covid, but they will phone in and go in order. the service was fast and friendly. for a first-class sushi restaurant the prices are very reasonable. I've been a frequent customer for over a decade.

I'm a big fan of Japanese food and I've been to several Japanese restaurants in the area. Out of all of them I must say that I like Hamasato the most. They have the best miso soup in my opinion. Yoshi (owner) and his staff are always very friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere.

I visit Hamasato at least once a week, on my lunch break. It is by far my favorite place to go! The pros list is endless- tons of food for the money, healthy, delicious, very friendly service, quick turnaround. Great, relatively unknown place- for lunch, that is. The dinner service is another great animal of its own. Once I visit for dinner, I will update this review! For now however, do not hesitate to come here for lunch!

A Japanese food joint that's more faithful to the original experience. Even the waitresses dress in kimono-like outfits at times. The atmosphere is true to the culture, and the food resembles actual Japanese food than other places that have more Americanized versions of orders. My go to is the Hama Special Noodles, can't go wrong with a nice bowl of ramen!

Best place in town, definitely a great whole in the wall. Everything from the Sushi to meals is wonderful. The Sushi is the closest thing to the sushi I ate in Japan.
