I’m adding this restaurant to my list of must-visit places for fantastic New Mexican cuisine whenever I'm in New Mexico. The food is excellent, the service is welcoming, and the sunsets over the Jemez Mountains are breathtaking. Skip the downtown scene and come here instead!

Everything about Pecos Trail Café is fantastic! My wife and I visit whenever we can, and we love taking our friends and family there too. The food is not only delicious but also expertly prepared and served in a friendly and professional manner. The staff is consistently courteous, and the owner/manager is exceptionally polite, greeting us as we arrive and bidding us farewell when we leave. Throughout our meal, he makes a point to check on us and engage in friendly conversation. I am thrilled to recommend Pecos Trail Café to anyone looking for a truly great dining experience, without the pretentiousness often found in many Santa Fe restaurants!

We visited New Mexico to experience the local cuisine, and this restaurant did not disappoint! After a hike, we wanted a quick spot for lunch and stumbled upon Pecos Trail Cafe, which is a bit off the main drag. I ordered the sangria and frito pie, both of which were outstanding, while my husband enjoyed the enchiladas. We also indulged in flan for dessert, which was the best I've ever tasted (even better than what I've had in New York). The owner is extremely friendly as well. I highly recommend checking this place out!
