Bidrage med feedbackI enjoyed their dumplings, visibly made in house, and house made noodles. Loved their soup dumpings (Xiao long bao), which contain hot broth inside the dumplings. Eat with a spoon!
Abosolutely terrible service, the person helping us was extremely rude. Never coming back and definitely don 't recommend this place.
Extremely rude staff person who has a very, very, bad attitude. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Came here on Chinese New Year, because I missed having real Chinese festive food. Ordered the fried pork dumplings and the spicy chicken noodle soup. The dumplings have decent fillings, but the dough was too dry (probably forzen) before fried, and is thus too hard rather than crispy. The ramen noodle in the soup is cheap pre-made noodle that is commonly sold in most asian markets, and not ramen; the broth resembles common pho broth, which isn't bad, just not what you would expect. The price is too steep for the level of food served, but I guess the location dictates the price. The owner a very nice southern Chinese lady, who earnestly listens to suggestions. Supposedly, the restaurant is going to be under different management next month, and I will update afterwards.
We were in the Santa Fe and Albuquerque area for 8 days, and got plenty of Tex-mex food, so much so that I needed a break for Asian food. Hole in the wall restaurant at the end of a shopping mall, farthest from the end next to the Plaza in Santa Fe. Place clean and attractive with the usual pictures and décor from the homeland. Bathrooms downstairs and require a code to enter. Ordered take out food of $10.50 chicken with rice, and $11.95 orange chicken, waiting 10 minutes even though we were the only customers at that time. We walked to the Georgia O 'Keefe Museum, spending half an hour there, and then another 10 minutes to get to our condo, before eating the meal. The white chicken was moist with cilantro-lime juices (this is New Mexico) and full of juices from the cooked sliced mushroom, and came with white rice. Decent portion size. The orange chicken was round chunks of white chicken cooked in a very light orange sauce, so that you could taste both the chicken and the orange flavoring. Came with white rice. Good portion size. Good enough to rival the Panda Express down the street from our condo. We are probably the first customers not to order noodle at this Chinese noodle restaurant, as wife not into eating Chinese noodles -she 's white. I 've ordered Chinese food in such areas as Kalispiel Montana, Mariposa CA, Jasper Alberta, Dawson City Yukon and now Santa Fe New Mexico, all places with no Chinese. My axiom of Don 't order Chinese food in places with no Chinese is broken here, with good Americanized Chinese food. Granted, it 's not up to Dean C of San Jose standards!
