Bidrage med feedbackHappily enjoyed a lovely Saturday Spring sunset out on the rooftop. Our party of four enjoyed Blue Corn IPAs and had 16? Shrimp and Special pizzas. The craft beers were cold and fresh. The pizzas were fresh out of the oven warm with a good artisan crust (not too thick and not too thin) and had the perfect complement of toppings. You can?t go wrong with either pizza. The shrimp with Alfredo sauce was a nice balance, and the Special had everything you want in a combo artisanal sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, red onions and olives and a blend of cheeses. The waitress was attentive to our needs and wants, and immediately came over and replaced the propane canister when the standing patio heater went out. It was the perfect way to watch the sun slowly set over the Santa Fe Plaza as the colors of the sky melded into the backdrop of mountains in the distance and the twinkling lights looked like fireflies lighting in the plaza trees.
This place is great. First it had a great view over the town plaza and it had a huge variety of beers. The game room was also very entertaining with an assortment of air hockey, darts, and my favorite venture shuffle board.
I'll say this. The pizza was good. However.....our wait was incredibly too long. It shouldn't take 40 minutes to cook 3 pizzas. The wait staff was HORRIBLE . But that's to be expected when they add a LARGE gratuity automatically. They don't have to be good at their job. They will ignore you and still get a nice fat tip. They were out of the beer I wanted and decided to substitute something else without asking. Flat out forgot to give us one of our drinks.... And there is no military discount. Or that's what we were told. And you sit looking the parking lot. Basically, with all food in the area and a different pizza bar top across the way...I suggest you go to the other one.
Beer selection was pretty good, pizza was good as well. The staff however seemed to not be getting along very well. At one point I heard one male member of the staff say I 'm not going to do a f@#king thing to a female employee which immediately made me feel very uncomfortable. After hearing that coment my wife and I noticed there seemed to be tension between some of the staff. I was overall not satisfied with the service and likely will not return.
We saw some mixed reviews but decided to try this spot as it was one of the only places open fairly late on a Sunday evening in Santa Fe. We weren?t disappointed! We ordered the meat lovers pizza and it was excellent! On the cheesier side, if that?s your thing. The ham on the meat lovers was delicious! I?d suggest ordering any pizza that has the ham on it, it was that good. The atmosphere is laid back and chill, playing music from underground hip hop artists like Atmosphere and Common. They have heaters if you prefer sit outside. Their version of a spicy Moscow Mule was okay but would probably have something different next time. Spicy drinks aren?t for everyone. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for an easy meal while in Santa Fe.
