Bidrage med feedbackFood was great, service was great, and thier beer is even better. Their El Hefe was the best smoked brewed hefeweizen I've ever had. I couldn't believe how beautiful it's color was and how good it tasted. It's close enough to downtown, but far enough to be able to park easily in thier own lot. A tiny bit pricey, our tab for 1 appetizer, 3 meals and 5 beers was $68. But I'd go back again!
On a recent day trip to Santa Fe we were looking (like we always do) for a local brewery. It's kinda my thing. The wife found Chili Line and *whoosh* off we went. Chili Line is a small place, but very cozy. It occupies an unassuming spot along the road right next door to Lino's Trattoria Pizzeria. We were just there for the beer so we sat in the bar. It's tiny, with only two tables, and a few stools at the bar. Jessica was our server so she directed us to the online beer menu. I ordered a flight of 4 beer (with the help of Congo), and they were all REALLY good. One of the things I absolutely LOVED about Chili Line was that smoked beers. I love a good smoked beer, be it an ale, stout, or lager. There's something about a smoke brew that is unique and makes it stand out from other beer. Chili Line is a CLEAR standout when it comes to smoked brews, and definitely The Best I've had. Jessica was awesome. She didn't mind engaging in conversation and helping us make beer choices. We also swapped a few tattoo stories (which is awesome) and helped me decide which merchandise to purchase. It was a short visit (maybe an hour), but it was great. Chili Line is a very cozy, relaxed place. Some breweries go for the hype, but not here. Just a quiet place to hang out and drink some excellent smoked brews. I'll be back. You've been warned.
Incredible service, delicious beer and loved the experience. Also really, really enjoyed the Impossible Pizza from Lino’s. Plan to be back again before we leave Santa Fe!
On our recent trip to Santa Fe, my fiance and I decided to swing through this brewery as it was close to our lodgings. All the beer here is smoked, which was a touch daunting until we tried a few. Most of the beer we had you could barely detect the smoke, but there are definitely some on the menu that are heavily smoked if that's your thing. All the beer we had was great, the atmosphere was fantastic (karaoke started up and was a blast), the service was great, and the regulars were welcoming and friendly. All considered, we will definitely be coming back here next time we're in Santa Fe.
They open at 11 which is great! Get the flight since they have great, unique beers like pumpkin and green Chile. You definitely want to try them and they’re good, but not a whole pint.
