Agave Lounge - Santa Fe

Was here for happy hour by the fireplace had everything on the happy hour menu... All was great drinks and service.. Jennifer and bus girl quite exceptional. I'm sure glad I gave this place a second chance a few years ago I gave it a bad review and hadn't been back.

The food was good, we had the salmon the wine selection was ok but they were out of what I ordered. Ok plan b. The server was knowledgeable but we felt like he was trying out for a stand up gig somewhere. Maybe we’re just the kind of people who attract that sort of guy. Overall the experience was okay not wonderful. There’s better restaurants in Santa Fe.

This place is alright. The set up is like upscale IHOP or village. They have specials that are not on the menu and our waiter did not tell us about them because he did not check the book, Dinner menu had 5 entrées. Ther was one OUTSTANDING waiter named David who had the ability to make us laugh and enjoy our visit...not the case a few days later.

Had a Chef's Board with a nice selection of meats and cheeses. I love creamed spinach so I had theirs and it was very good.

Delicious salmon and exceptional service from the waiter. What a treat to have the chef come out to meet us.
