Bidrage med feedbackA complete success. it's in the market of our African lady. the vitrine was the best presentation letter. seafood, prepared perfectly. good wine or cava. lots of cleaning, fast in service and very attentive.
Excellent choice of fish. And there are also fish bars for you to eat on site. They also advise you on the best wine to have with the fish..the only thing is, it does smell fishy.to me this is only to be expected but some other people were complaining..duh
We stopped by the market on our recent visit to Santa Cruz and were not disappointed. Copas of cava and lovely fresh shellfish, prawns and oysters, delicious.very friendly service.
Downstairs in the Mercado Nuestra Senora De Africa you will find Pescador Nicomendes, almost next door to Nicos fresh fish stall. If you 're not there by 1.30 pm, it 's standing room only. The days 'offering ' is displayed temptingly before you and the price is clearly chalked up on boards at either side of the counter. It 's shellfish or nothing here with a fine variety of shrimps/prawns plus mussels, clams, oysters and crab legs (pata). We ate Gamba Blanca (9 Euros), Mejillon (9 E) and Pata (15 Euros each). Complementary baskets of bread were handed out freely by the friendly staff who remained smiley throughout, even under pressure. A bottle of Rose Cava was a bargain at 10 Euros and a glass of Albarino was 1.80 E. If you like to eat somewhere with a bit of a 'buzz ', there are few places better than this to spend a rainy afternoon.
