Bidrage med feedbackVery good restaurant where hospitality is of paramount importance. The tuna steak was just perfect and I don't say that quickly. The interior has a somewhat old-fashioned feel, but with all the plants that gives it allure. If we are ever in Madeira again we will definitely come back!
Really liked the food here. Especially the filet minon and the red snapper. The service from Fabrizio is also excellent. Most of the mains were priced at between 12 20 euros each.
We are staying at the hotel and due to rain we didn’t want to walk the 15 mins in to Santa Cruz. Although it was very quiet (due to off season and covid they still managed a wonderful meal including fresh fish. The waiter was super friendly and professional. We had the Madeira scabbard fish in banana and it was superb. The lamb was also very good with lots of veggies (something you don’t often get in hotel meals . There was a reasonable wine list at fair prices including a decent Maderan red wine. There is indoor and outdoor seating and everything is extremely covid aware. There is parking available at the entrance to the hotel. I have no hesitation in recommending Hibiscus Restaurant. (I suggest you ring ahead to book, even in off season.

Ein wirklich sehr nobles Restaurant. Das essen ist wirklich lecker. Ich hatte Schinken mit Melone als Starter, Lachs als Hauptspeise und tiramisu als Dessert. Mit leckeren Wein und romantischen Ambiente. Sehr zu empfehlen, die Preisklasse ist allerdings gehoben. Wem es das jedoch wert ist wird hier ein unvergessliches Dinner haben.
