Part of the 5 star Albatroz Hotel Spa the Restaurante Hibiscus is located right on the coast with lovely views over the sea from the terrace. Very good food with slick service and you can even watch the planes coming in to land. Great place! We went to grab a quick lunch just before our flight and that was a good decision. The restaurant is at the 5-star hotel, the prices are ok, a bit more expensive then Funchal but quality is very good and service was excellent. Also there is a nice view as a bonus. Service: Dine in

THE ultimate insider tip. Pretty empty, as hardly anyone drives into the hotel who isn't a guest. Friendly service, good food (more sandwiches, but also pasta), great view, absolutely reasonable in terms of price (pasta €12) You can't hear the nearby airport. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
