Callahan's - Santa Cruz

Every time I’ve been here (four times) there have been four different bartenders…I wish I could remember their names because they’ve all been awesome. One brought leftover thanksgiving sweet treats and shared with me. She didn’t know me from any jackass on the street. Totally recommend.

Went for Karaoke which was fun. They have a relaxed energy. Just wish they had less light-up signs all over. They are a bit too bright.

Go on Tuesdays because Adam is amazing! He makes wicked awesome drinks and he can school me at pool one handed. It's a nice dive anyways. Super interesting history. Bikers are welcome and sports are usually on TV.

$7 Jameson. Cool locals on both side of me talking about Santa Cruz then and now. Real chill dive bar vibe. Not much going on but a couple pool tables available.

This is a motorcycle bar and a neighborhood bar. Good little hiding place. Cool bartender when I was there. Crowd was cool, but it's a bar. Jukebox, pool, darts. Lots of parking back. Don't see and Yuppie Bar are seen!
