Bidrage med feedbackSteamed ice-creamed red. we had a big party ~13 people) and the staff always forget about things in our order and asked us several times if we still got an article when we said we didn't. we were constantly out of the water, since the service was slow and they brought only 2 small pitchers to a time for our party of 13. elaborate and not tasty. I liked the overpriced spicy tofu suppe. meeresfruit pancake was also good.
I recommend ordering one of their special sets. they get a good variety of what they have to offer and they can choose which meat they want! remember that the marinated meats including calbi are all prepared for them. they do not grill it themselves. I do not really recommend the boggi because it gets cold quickly. the special b $100 after controlling tipp was the perfect order for three of us to share. the meat quality is not bad. they can never go wrong with bark and brisket! they really have decent banchan my favorites is the kartoffel one! the seafood pancakes can be quite inconsistent. sometimes it is super crispy; other paints it is too soft. the steamed egg is honest on the salty side. I love that they give you radian paper, rice paper, kimchi fried rice and salat wraps! they really get a bit of everything. a popular KBBQ spot. very busy. order them before they sit. a lot of luck at the parking lot at dinner! the workers here are busy very fast on their feet and constantly moving / holding. free yakult at the end of the meal is always estimated :
Tobang is so Korean, you?ll feel like you?re at your Korean aunties? house. It?s so Korean that all of the employees are probably related. It?s so Korean, the wait staff will talk to you in Korean before English. It?s so Korean that you might walk away smelling like Korean BBQ. To start off with, Tobang is a la carte, which is how it should be. They portion sizes are perfect for any group (you?ll get to choose from a few sets , and every table gets a TON of side dishes. The most notable side dish was the Korean seafood pancake. It was pan fried to perfection, and EASILY 10x as good as any other seafood pancake I?ve ever had. It actually blew me away. But the BBQ is what keeps this place afloat. The wait staff will cook your meat for you, and honestly that?s how I want to be treated when I go out. I want to be a Korean emperor. Or a Korean grandfather (filial piety is a thing right? . Okay, I?m exaggerating a little bit. But surely, amidst the chaos (what family isn?t chaotic , they?ll make you feel at home.
I love the efficiency of this place! You will sit pretty fast after the order and the food follows almost immediately. The meat comes with blows, eggs, soup and rice. The meat content is very generous so keep in mind while you order? I guess the only drawback is that if your party size is small, you cannot try many meats as you could hope.
The food comes out quickly and the meat cools within minutes on the grill. You get lots of rice, toppings and sauces to make delicious dishes. Come hungry because the meat portions are very large! Recommend this place if you are looking for Korean BBQ. The ribs were particularly good.
