Bidrage med feedbackThis sushi restaurant features an impressive array of options, showcasing authentic Japanese cuisine beyond just sushi. They offer fantastic appetizers, a wide variety of sushi, and a solid selection of sake and Japanese beers. The ambiance is particularly charming, making it a perfect choice for anyone looking for a peaceful place to enjoy lunch or dinner. While the service could be improved, the staff is friendly and attentive, which is what you expect from a high-quality establishment. I keep coming back due to their extensive menu and excellent location!
This restaurant feels like a hidden gem, nestled just outside the main downtown area. What an amazing find! My boyfriend and I were looking for sushi after our usual spot was closed, so we decided to give this place a shot. It has quickly become our favorite! The prices are reasonable, and the variety of rolls is impressive. Their specialty rolls are not only unique but also incredibly delicious, and I particularly love the soy paper they use. The service is friendly and outstanding as well! I highly recommend this restaurant!
The takoyaki is crispy and tasty. The curry omelet rice has perfectly cooked rice, while the chicken cutlet is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The curry is good; I liked the addition of mushrooms, but it could use a stronger flavor. Overall, I would definitely return.
Came in at the beginning of today's Thursday lunch opening. Ordered veggie sukiyaki with extra tofu. Food: Loved it. First thing I noticed was the amazing aroma from the dish. Full-bodied, sweet, and smelled like mushrooms. Then the presentation: everything was neat, balanced in color, and served in a large metal bowl that looked well-lived. The veggies tasted fresh, and reserved their original tastes: not overcooked. The texture of the yam noodles was very satisfying: stiff at first, they cooked in the soup and got softer, but still had a satisfying bite. The textures of all the ingredients were varied due to different cooking techniques (blanched, raw, simmered, etc. . The broth was sweet (maybe just a tad much and savory. Service: The waiters were very courteous and responsive. They made the experience very pleasant. Environment: There are a few rooms. I was seated in the street-side room by a window. It had dark colors and a subtly elegant design. In the background was soft, smooth jazz, which I loved. Value: My $14 Sukiyaki was worth $20 imo. With the service and environment, at least $22. Only thing was an additional ~3 oz. of blanched tofu cost $2, whereas it'd be worth about $0.40 in store. It's a small cost though, and I'd argue having that tofu addition specifically with that meal increased its value by at least 3x. Will be returning.
Excellent Sushi, relaxed environment. Lots of unique menu items to try and good vegetarian options as well!
