Bidrage med feedbackI really liked the place, we had tables outside and it was very good, just a little windy but pleasant and incredibly wonderful. The food tastes excellent, the portions are good. Their menu is good and extensive and we tried the Clam Chowder and it was super delicious, I would give it a 5 but I left it at 4.5 because the bread is soft and a little chewy and I was expecting something more crunchy. I would still order it again. Delicious oysters. They have two types Kumamoto and Laguna, the Laguna is smaller but has more flavor. Many people ordered onion rings, but they look more like onion halves, they are very big ?. As you can see, the crabs are so fresh that they live until you order them, just like the hedgehogs . It's at the bottom of the Santa Barbara pier. There is ample and secure parking. IG: foodie_girl_mx
I came close to closing but they were super friendly and nice. The shrimp tacos were surprisingly really good, I’m a big fan. Nice views too.
It was our only stop in Santa Barbara on our way to LA and it didn't disappoint. We went there for the clam-chowder and we also got coconut shrimps with fries. Both were really good. For a couple I would recommend sitting at the bar to also watch the whole kitchen activity. Or ask for a table on side of the restaurant to catch the sunset. Would definitely go back, worth trying more dishes like Crab, Lobster and maybe Sea Urchin. Parking: Many parking spots on the dock, which is an experience on itself, quite cheap also. (1.5 or 2 hour free parking I think)
Over hyped! food was mediocre at best, the tables were filthy outside, there is no ambience inside and the restaurant is super small crowded and stinky. The take out window order taker is rude and has zero customer service skills! Tried the restaurant a few doors down (first one on the right side) the next day that was 10X better ambience cleanliness and food was much tastier…
Read the negative reviews first. The place is a bit pricey but tasty. However once we were done the sever demanded we tip him right when we were about to leave. It was rather embarrassing him calling us out. Never coming back here.
