This place is bomb. The food is amazing, just be ready to regret that last bite. The owners are super sweet and helpful, and the service is fast. If it's a late night out, look no further. Except maybe the gym the next day.

This places rents out the kitchen of Velvet Jones, which I don't even think is a live venue anymore, much less open. The actual Velvet Jones wasn't open when I visited in June, but this delicious mac and cheese front was. The mac and cheese here is pretty decent. A fast food equivalent would be like El Pollo Loco's mac and cheese. The mac and cheese is best eaten here fresh like within 15 minutes, because otherwise the cheese gets weirdly gloopy/chunky in consistency rather than creamy/sticky. The noodles are pretty big and fall apart easily and the tater tots are fantastic (the vegetarian option has tater tots underneath the mac and cheese and omg). The build-your-own small starts at $6. I got mine just plain for $6 and thought it was pretty worth it. My friend ordered the vegetarian one without jalapenos. It normally comes with tomatoes, jalapenos, and basil, but they totally forgot the basil and we didn't realize until we got home (it was wrapped in foil to-go). The large was definitely a big size, but not sure if worth about $12. Would highly recommend this hole-in-the-wall (almost literally) to any mac and cheese lover with a night-time craving, though. Seems like tax is included in the listed price, which is a bonus.

Awesome after hours spot or regular hour! I wasn't drunk when I ordered the meat lover for me and the ultimate for my wife. We both got the large, we both got easily filled up not even half way through eating the macs. In fact there so much food that we'll both be grubbing on them for the next few days. At $16 and $13 respectively for each one seems like a lot of money to throw down on mac and cheese, it's not because mostly likely you too will be eating it for the next few days as well! Hot Cheetos crumbs are great topping adding richly to the experience!
