Casa Del Mar Inn - Santa Barbara

Stayed here for one night during my birthday weekend. Charming hotel with kind staff, and free wine cheese at night. There is some parking on site and lots of parking in the surrounding streets. The location is awesome just far enough away from the train and downtown so it’s pretty quiet at night. Downtown Santa Barbara, the beach, and the Wharf are walking distance so there is lots to do, eat, and drink!

Great little gem. So close to the beach and marina, just about a block away. We stayed in a king suite. It was perfect for what we paid, very low key but clean, spacious and of course, great location. The hotel offered a continental breakfast and happy hour with wine and cheese, which we enjoyed. The front desk manager (Chris? was super helpful and accommodating. I will definitely come back to SB and stay here. It was a nice place to stay for our anniversary.

Super friendly staff. Free breakfast and wine and cheese between 5 to 7 pm. Walking distance to beach and lots of dinning places. The rooms are a bit dated but the great customer service makes it worthwhile. Would go back again

Thanks to Christian, the GM, this turned from a horrible experience to customer satisfaction at its best. Booked a stay through hotels.com (will not use them again) and upon checkin found that our reservation couldn't be found. Called hotels.com and their awful customer service was of no help, so we booked a nearby hotel albeit at a higher price than we booked at Casa Del Mar. Long story short, asked hotels.com for a refund of difference between Casa Del Mar and place we ended up staying and after 6 phone calls of about 1 hour each and 3 empty promises to have a supervisor from hotels.com call me back, I was finally able to get them to give me a credit. In the meantime, Christian offered to make things right himself by offering a discount on a future stay PLUS refunding the amount out of his own pocket realizing that he would have better luck dealing with hotels.com than a customer would. Kudos to Christian and thumbs down to hotels/expedia will never use them again. Book direct to save and get better customer support!

I love this place, the rooms are clean and cute, they have a nice courtyard area to sit and enjoy some free wine and cheese they serve in the evening. Best part is that this hotel is pet friendly. The location is great, walking distance to everything in the downtown area. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Perfect place to get away with your doggy. The only con is the rooms get a little warm during the summer, however they do provide additional fans to help keep you cool.
