Three Roots Mexican Cocina - Santa Ana

I did not have their food because I went to see a live band and dance. But the atmosphere and the service was excellent.

The service was good. The food tasted dry and stale. We wanted to order ice tea and horchata but none was available, even though the restaurant had been open for four hours. No one was in the restaurant and we were the only ones there for the most of our meal until the last ten minutes until a party of three came in. The restaurant should have been busy because it was St. Patrick's Day and Sunday brunch.

This was my first time here and unfortunately it didn't start out well. I was looking forward to chips and salsa instead they brought pinwheels and hot sauce I was so disappointed. I started with the corn dish and while it was good I tasted a little too much “char” for my liking. The beef taquitos were very tasty. I ordered the enchiladas suizas which was supposed to come with refried beans but they gave me black beans which I don't like. When I cut open one of the chicken enchiladas I found a whole leaf, I'm assuming it was a bay leaf to add flavor but it should have been removed, so that ruined the enchiladas for me. Service started out good but then I never saw my server again until I asked for the bill. This was not a place that I will come back to.

Great place ! Angel the bartender is pretty humble and good

Everything from the Food to the Service is Always Amazing. The Ahi Ceviche is the best!
