Taqueria Los Grandes - Santa Ana

Large small taqueria, approx. 1 mile outside downtown Santa Ana area at the corner of 5th Street and Raitt. Arrive early if you want a parking lot, or find one from the street. There is a handful of tables in the small dining room. Like many good Taquerias, they have an extensive menu from Carne Asadas to Lenguas to the Menudo that they serve daily. You can use it in taco form, burrito or plate. My superior took me here for lunch, so I'm not sure how much my part was, but he had the Lengua (Togue) dish with beans, rice and tortillas, and added a big horchata while I had the big menudo, with corn tortillas and a can diet coke. Our sum came to over $20, so I guess it was about $10 per person. The tortillas were beautiful and thick, not this wimpy you get at many places. They offered us a few bottles of different salsas and a thick gooey chili sauce in a bowl. A little went far. The big menu filled me, but I wish it had more taste. It had no kick at all and trusted the Salsas/Sauces to do the job. General parts of tripe, but many were cut over the bite size that I had to chew like a cow for swallowing. Overall thumb up, but not an excellent Taqueria to say it is the bomb.

Best in Santa Ana OC. Taco's Los Grandes is the (Best) Hands Down!! The food is excellent and perfect. The owners do it right to say the least. Tacos are (Damm Good) beef, chicken, pigs and cheese. Burritos and Enchiladas are so good if this place in the Balagio Hotel would be a 5 star recreation. Go easy and make the trip take $5-7 and go your good. You will go further for the Tacos and Burritos is Santa Ana Ca.

This is my favorite taqueria in Santa Ana. I spent a lot of lunch on their delicious combo plates. The chicken enchiladas are my favorite, but you can't go wrong with any dish here. Go over here.

I don't really like Menudo, but you're really good!! Also the crispy shredded beef bags are good. The food is good, but I would say it's really pricy for a little break.

Taqueria Los Grandes is one of the best tacos spots here in Santa Ana. This restaurant is a staple to the community, and if you haven’t tried their tacos dorados, what are you waiting for? Absolute fire! (Not just their Chile oil).
