Mega Subs - Santa Ana

This was my favorite restaurant while we visited the area! We had to go twice. Looks from the outside can be deceiving, the food was really good, and delivered super-fast. There are only a few seats inside, but they’re comfy.

Very nice people. Always smiling and helpful. Get the teriyaki cheese sandwich with onion rings. It's delicious!

I ordered the Italian sub sandwich and it was one of the best I've ever had. Delicious!!!

Drove a long way to get here as I couldn’t find a baked potato anywhere else. The mega potato was delicious, although the potato skin wasn’t at all crispy (I prefer baked potatoes with crispy skin). Toppings were good. Steak sandwich had enough meat but was somehow strangely sweet which I very much dislike in savory food. Won’t be ordering that again but would come back for the potatoes if I can’t find a better place. FYI the place is located in a really run down part of town with a lot of homeless people walking around. I wouldn’t bring kids anywhere near here. This is definitely a dive in a seedy area but it’s still worth checking out.
