Makai Island Kitchen Groggery

Wow, what a great meal! Everything was delicious and on the point, the service was so real and great, and the views of course are always spectacular!

Host seemed very unhappy to be there. Like he wanted to take our name for a table, he was the last thing he wanted to do. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Food was bland and not well cooked.

If you are looking for a fun pirate theme restaurant that has the feelings of pirates of the Caribbean with mostly Hawaiian food and views of Santa Cruz in addition to a rotating bar area, you should come here. I'm always looking for another experience and good food. The pulled pig was a bit too dry for me, but the drinks are funny and exciting.

Love this place, the food is great, fantastic views, only problem is that it consistently among staff. But the rotating rod is a must
