El Farol - Santa Ana

Wow! Spanish food! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it has so much ambience on the inside. We sat in the bar and felt a little underdressed in our shorts and t-shirts. There was a guitarist playing beautiful Spanish tunes for hours!!! The decore is Spanish influenced and gorgeous. We ordered Pappas braves-yum, the green Chile enchiladas were great and the paella was superb! This was another A dining experience.

The Pizza here was fantastic. Some of the best I've had in a while. If you walk to the left of the restaurant there's a walkway to the back with a pizza trailer. Get one on one service with Oshia. He's not afraid to step away from the menu if you want a special bite. Highly recommended.

We had the prix fixe menu that was offered for the Flamenco show. It was fantastic. I would highly recommend the salmon entree. Very good. The Flamenco performance was unbelievable. So good. Singer, guitarist and dancers were top notch. Unfortunately there was a birthday party in an adjacent room that got very loud. Whomever accepted that booking at the same time the Flamenco performance was happening should be fired. Disrespectful to the guests attending that performance and especially to the performers.

My wife and I bought tickets for the dinner and Flamenco show. The evening started out great, the food was very good. The service was excellent and then it was time for the entertainment to start. Within a short time a loud party in an adjoining room totally interrupted the entertainment, the entertainers were visibly upset, as well as many of the patrons seated near us. We were astonished that the restaurant would’ve allowed this. The party consisted of at least 30 people celebrating a birthday. They were very loud and totally spoiled our evening. We can’t recommend this place and we certainly won’t return.

Reservations at 6:30 for the Flamenco show are a must. Awesome performance. Good food. Wine and cocktails. Great evening.
