Chipotle Mexican Grill - Santa Ana

I am a huge fan of chipotle, but this particular location is dealing with a severe understaffing issue. There is one exceptional employee who is essentially doing the work of three people - prepping the food and manning the register. I urge the management to address this issue promptly.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, but the service from the female staff can be a bit rude. This might be because the restaurant is focusing more on online orders.

I generally don't like to write negative reviews, but the staff did their best. However, whoever was in charge of the chips did not do a good job. On the bright side, the meat at this location is consistently good. The guacamole is always brown, even when I come early, and the queso had a film on it, indicating that it was not fresh. If you decide to order, I recommend sticking to burritos and bowls and avoiding anything fancy. The selection of teas is limited to one option. At least there is always the reliable soda fountain.

THIS LOCATION IS BY FAR THE WORST I'VE BEEN TO. I enjoy Chipotle and this is a convenient location but I avoid it. Then some time goes by and I think, maybe I'll give it another shot. Then I get reminded why I don't come to this location. What is it about the employees here. They serve food like they hate being here, as if I'm bugging them by walking in. Every single staff member I've dealt with around noon to 2ish, acts miserable mute. There is such a lack of customer service that I don't understand how these skinsuits passed an interview! No greeting, no smiles...just mumbles giving you your total. Chipotle's are generally very clean but this location always has dirty tables and they're always out of Tabasco, forks, and napkins. I paid $15.95 for a carne asada bowl with poor quality meat and paid extra for this sad slap of guac on top. Please, please, please DO BETTER!

The young girl that works lunch hour is so rude. Don't even waste your time and money if she is serving. The food is way too expensive to have to deal with her attitude. She is horrible with the servings. She needs some serious training or a different job.
