Chez Mamou - Santa Ana

Used to have great food, but unfortunately closed for almost a year now but it's still somehow listed on every reservation and food-delivery website, causing many people into showing up with reservations to a closed restaurant. Why they're still on googleI have no idea, but as far as french cuisine in Santa Fe goes, you'll have better luck elsewhere.

We were looking a a dessert and reading the menu outside which didn't show anything. Suddenly a car pulls up and rolls down the window. A gentleman says the food is amazing...and that is from a local. I ask how about dessert. He replied evenbetter. You know what? He was correct.

Fantastic! Top shelf! Wonderful staff. Delicious and artfully presented meal. We enjoyed lunch at Chez Mamou. We'll be back for dinner and so should you.

I wanted to like this little art jewelry shop slash cafe.. I stopped in alone in scrubs on a Tuesday evening and I was treated like pretty woman was on her first shopping trip... the food is average and the service is nonexistent. I spent $101 alone andwas treated very basic..

We have been at and enjoyed this restaurant several times. We made a reservation on Open Table that was confirmed. Had a long walk, parking 3 blocks away. Regardless, we arrived only to see a large sign in the front window “Closed for renovations. See you soon! Angry is not even close to our reaction. Who is the dumb ___ that didn’t notify their reservation site and hasn’t anyone noticed this situation? 12 other parties had made reservations the same day! Made rating all around is a huge zero
