Bidrage med feedbackIn San Remo it's hard to find a sunbed at one of the bagni's because most of them are reserved for the locals. Via our SUP trip we discovered Stella Beach and we booked 5 days in a row : Very nice people, great beds for a fine price, relaxed and nice local italians and above all excellent food for a good price. We could not choose from the menu, as everything sounds as nice as it in real time was. As a result we experienced a short cooking lesson from the chef herself for her brilliant tomato sauce. We really felt home in Italy at this lovely relaxed place!
I have never been to more unfriendlier place. Have to agree with the previous reviewer. Even though one can converse in Italian/Spanish, it is so hard to get a respectable service. As a foreigner you will definitely get served last. Regardless of having spent every day whole day on the beach, paying ridiculous amount of euros for 2 sun loungers and an umbrella (31e), having snacks, coffees, drinks, lunch ,still no smile. Or just being polite would've suffice. Unfortunately the food is really, really good. The beach clean, the sea, bath warm. Pity and shame that the staff/owners don't know much about hospitality when it comes to non Italian customers.
La gentilezza della padrona è unica. Il ristorante è ancora chiuso ma non esiterò a tornare per godere di questo incantevole paradiso.
