Restaurant Echt Heimat Cafe Bar

Simple menu, small terrace, but just a perfect place to relax after a walk or a bike tour with a beautiful view of the lake. Not really for dinner, but for lunch or late afternoon snack. The pizza is worth trying, especially with a cold stiegl. The toilet is located on the street next to the restaurant and the large city parking lot.

Make yourself sit and watch what reasonable price-performance food on the side of the lake, and drink all employees can speak well English

We had a nice coffee and cake here and enjoyed us very much. The strudel was delicious and the view could not beat. The couple belonging to this café was very hospitable.

We visited many times in our 2 weeks in St. Gilgen and always enjoyed us. Cold Stiegl, good desserts, tasty lunch and great conversation with a beautiful lake shore. Great opportunity to relax an afternoon in a beautiful location.

We went there for a lunch today 06.23.2019, food and the lady server was ok but the guy inside the kitchen was very rude. we ask for the key of the washroom the lady server was so nice to give it to us but she was scolded by the guy not to lend it to us. dont know whats his problem. we are customer and have the right to use the washroom. if they dont like to lend the customer their washroom they better not operate a restaurant business.
