Schnapper's Hots - SANIBEL

I had been searching for big burgers and dogs since I moved to SW Florida from North Carolina two years ago. After dozens of places, the search is finally finished. Finding a place where you can even get chili on a burger down here is almost impossible when I saw Schnaper's Carolina style on the menu, I had to stop. The Cheeseburger and the hot dog, everyone with mustard, chili, Slav and onions reminded me of my favorite place at home and the hand cut and baked onion rings were amazing. I was too full for ice, but I'm going to go back... and again... so there will be a lot of time for it. Prices were also appropriate for a place on the island.

Absolutely amazing. Food is fresh, tasty and made quite fast. Staff are very friendly and helpful. You accept apple money, which is a bonus. This will make my way to the island. I love this place.

First visit to Snapper?s is hot for late lunch today. This restaurant has no indoor seating, they have a few indoor dining places. All seats are outside. We ordered a chili dog $5.25), Grandma Kramer $4.75), original $5.25), Cheeseburger $8.85), medium fry $3.95) and we went back after we had eaten for ice. The hot dogs were delicious, but they also have natural shells that my husband hates. I'm glad they got burgers too, so he was happy. The hot dogs are delicious, but I wasn't a Chili fan. While it has no beans that are perfect, it was more spicy than I feel it must be. Not child-friendly chili. The hot dogs are typical so if you have a small appetite, you should order at least two. The Burger was pretty good and the Pommes were great. They offer about 40 different flavors of ice creams also in some fun flavors. They offer both shakes and malt.

The food was delicious. Chili Dog, Cheeseburger, Onion Rings and Pommes were all fabulous. Super fast service, clean, cute atmosphere. Get back! Update: The next day back. Grouper sandwich for lunch was delicious and the grilled chicken sandwich for dinner later was great. Ice was fabulous. Our new favorite place to eat on the island!

Onion rings are delicious. Hotdog buns were cold and stale, the dogs are over cooked. The chili was good but I prefer the cheese on top. And I don?t like politics with my food.
