Tijuana Flats - Sanford

I was served undercooked chicken wings at this restaurant. When I informed the management, their only solution was to offer me more wings.

T-flats usually does not disappoint me, but I had never been to this location before. I waited in line for almost 10 minutes before placing a take-out order, which I then had to wait another 5-10 minutes even though the place was fairly empty, and it was just one salad. When I got back to my location, I discovered the entire order was wrong. It was missing several ingredients which made the whole thing taste bad. What a disappointment from one of my fav local joints! The staff didn't even seem to notice or care that I had waited so long to order, or that the food was slow in coming.

The Tex-Mex cuisine at this restaurant is outstanding. They offer a wide selection of spicy/hot sauces for tasting and purchase. The menu is diverse, featuring everything from tacos to oversized burritos.

Delicious very large burrito made Tiajuana style with lettuce, onion, and sour cream, or can be customized. May be ordered wet with a mild sauce. One of the few fast food Micican chains that offer a wet burrito.

We were able to get our order in as soon as we arrived. Since we were eating in our assigned server provided some feedback. We appreciated that there was a prompt explanation when an unexpected delay in one of the meals occurred and they offered chips to bide time. The meal was enjoyable different from what I had imagined but enjoyable. I appreciated that someone checked on patrons to make sure that we were not in need of anything to complete our meals. Also, like the fact that this chain has that sauce table so that patrons can experiment with flavors without having to provide explanations. This restaurant is not far from I 4 so if you are traveling past Sanford and in the mood, you can satisfy that urge within less than 5 mins of getting off the highway.
