Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Sanford

Spicy tenders, Cajun potatoes and Red beans and rice are great. Just wish they would have remembered to put in the BBQ sauce I selected on both meals.

Popeyes failed to get my order correct, both with the special instructions I provided and with actually building my order correctly. When I finally received my order, it was cold and dried out. The chicken tasted old, like it was leftover the day before. Hell, the employees couldnt even get everything I ordered right. It was missing both the chicken sandwich and the fries. Only thing they got right was the damn biscuit, and that was hard as a rock. Yeah, from now on Ill stick with Chic-fila for my chicken.

Id never tried Popeyes before, so I gave it a shot. Its NOT bad at all. In reality, the chicken is pretty good. I guess the commercials had my expectations up. I still prefer Bojangles. Popeyes is better than KFC for sure! The popcorn shrimp was excellent. The mac n cheese, is pretty much the same everywhere. The ONE item Popeyes CRUSHES Bojangles and KFC is the Mashed taters and gravy. Popeyes is THE BEST by far in MY humble opinion. Price was great and delivery fast.

This was the ABSOLUTE WORST oder that I have ever received. I ordered a three piece combo meal, which includes a drink. I upgraded the drink size to large but received NO drink at all. We also ordered the 6 piece ghost wings. They were out and the substituted wings were dry and cold. Not at all what was expected. SMH

One star is i overrate! The service I received here was terrible. Spent $70 all my sides were missing, chicken was horrible. It was like they refried the already fried chicken or needed to maybe change their grease. My chicken sandwiches were by far the worse I have had from any Popeys! I contacted the store the following day and spoke with the manager, who placed me on hold, returned to the phone to tell me she spoke to her GM, and they said it was nothing they could do! Horrible food! Horrible customer service. Money thrown away! We will never oblige this location again!
