Very good night out for two of us food was excellent

Amazing. Our servers were really friendly and welcoming. Great food. Fast serves. Nice wine. Great selection. Will be back.

My comments here are formulated around the expectations I have of an establishment at this price point. Anywhere offering a near $100 steak needs to be on point from start to finish! We were a group of six, arrived at the restaurant on time (actually 5 minutes early) and then stood at the entrance for several minutes before even being acknowledge. Looked very short staffed on the restaurant floor. Finally acknowledge and sat at our table (but I certainly couldn 't say I felt welcomed, more dump and run), water jugs put on the table and we ere then left for a good 15 minutes without any contact from anyone. Drinks order was finally taken and the food order requested at the same time... after some questions around the menu, the menu recommendations, our options and dishes of the day were explained, but this was far too long from being seated and after such a long wait we then felt rushed into making choices. The food was very good indeed (a couple of dishes were not to our taste but were as described) and very well presented. The kitchen was on point and did an excellent job, with some very tasty dishes and excellent sauces. However, there was a significant lack of what I shall call polish in the service experience and delivery, and it really let the whole experience down for all of us. I frankly expect better for $800 and have received better service at pubs while having a $25 parmi and pint special! That said, I will return and give them another go, hoping that circumstances conspired against the front of house and they just missed the mark by so much due to things other than a lack of training, care and experience... fingers crossed because this join has great potential if the front of house can lift to match the quality of the food and the prices!

Fantastic smoked pork ribs! Awesome smoked oysters Kilpatrick! Amazingly brilliant sauces! If I didn’t live in Brisbane I’d be eating here weekly.

Definitely a smokehouse spot worth visiting! The overall ambiance is great, although the portion sizes were a bit small, which I think is typical for a casino. However, the quality of the food was excellent.
