Breakfast In The Hood - Sandy

I definitely recommend this place! The breakfast burrito (the black diamond) was fantastic, and the biscuit with jelly was equally delicious. The presentation could use some improvement, as the images on the food truck don’t look very appealing, and the food itself could be presented better. But who cares when it tastes so good? I believe that customer service is extremely important in the food industry, and without it, a business can really struggle. Fortunately, the lovely lady handling the cash register is incredibly friendly and great at multitasking. I would absolutely recommend this spot!

The breakfast food here is consistently outstanding. I usually order the bowl with cheese sauce, and it's a generous portion! The burritos are also very popular among diners. Occasionally, there can be a bit of a wait, so after we place our order, we like to pop into Next Adventure next door or enjoy a mimosa while we wait for our food. My favorite mimosa is the blueberry lavender!

This is my favorite place to visit after my adventures at Mt. Hood! I've been here so many times that I felt it was about time to write a great review for them. The Black Diamond and The Bowl never fail to satisfy a hungry adventurer! The service is quick, even during busy hours. I absolutely love Breakfast in the Hood! I would have taken a picture of my bowl with all the toppings, but I devoured it too quickly. Highly recommended!

First of all, the staff here is incredibly friendly. I tried the vegan breakfast burrito, and it was amazing—the flavors were excellent, well-seasoned, and perfectly balanced. The non-vegan in my group also enjoyed her breakfast, so it's a great spot for mixed diets. It looks like they have a few lunch options as well, including a falafel patty. This will definitely be our go-to place when we visit Mt. Hood!

The food cart along the way offers vegan options and serves great local beer!
