South Moon Bbq - Sandwich

I've been coming to South Moon for years, but less often since they closed the Montgomery site. The Chuck Norris is a sandwich with all meat, and certainly one of my favorites. But the ribs are also incredible. The pig mills nachos are a unique combination that works wonderfully together. Don't forget the nitro sauce. And yes, it's hot.

We ordered the pulled pork sandwich $6.95), brisket sandwich $9.95), and Mac and cheese $2.95). The brisket was really good and wasn't as fat as some others I had. The portions were good, but the sauces were moderate. You have a really good selection of alcoholic drinks and their customer service was great. The only way was the Mac and cheese. They had no fried pickles due to supply problems, which is understandable, so we took the Mac and cheese. It didn't taste like Mac and cheese. It was more of a warm pasta salad with penne pasta, oil, meeting, onions, bbq sauce and other ingredients, but not sure whether it was cheese. I wish it was advertised as such.

It was my first time here. The atmosphere was great! Many super heroes, sci fi memorabilia and more. The service was a little slow, but that was okay, just some games played in the arcade, the food was great! The nachos, pulled pork, pig bites were phenomenal! I'm back.

Hidden jewel! We came by that day after we visited a wedding hall that was not far and immediately in love. We were looking for a restaurant that could hold a little wedding party for lunch. We had no idea this was the place! This place has not only really good BBQ it also has a welcoming atmosphere. With all neat toy collections and an arcade. We knew we had to have our wedding here. From the beginning, Katie and her staff were super helpful and so friendly. Katie made the whole process of planning our wedding dinners so easy. She went beyond and beyond! (She even sent her husband out to get us a real cake slicer in the morning of our lunch

Love this place. The food is SO good. Everything is reasonably priced. The arcade is really cool, and the decor is as well. The service is excellent. One of the best BBQ places around.
