Best fishing and chips in the city. the broken chips sooo yummy I would thank this place to all my family and friends 5 stars service every time many.

I came at 9:30, 30 minutes before she closed and asked for broken chips. I was so happy on the way to her. one of the owners said they had no broken chips anymore. I was broken haha, but then she went out of her way to put up some batteries and sort the chips for me, in the meantime have a nice chat with me. very friendly, friendly and my second time there. will come back defo. break the chips!

I visited the restaurant on Tuesday, August 10th after reading several reviews. Upon entering, I enthusiastically mentioned that I had heard good things about the restaurant on TripAdvisor. Unfortunately, the owner, Joe, seemed unresponsive and did not acknowledge my comment. He looked at me strangely and did not speak to me at all. None of the other staff engaged in conversation or thanked me for visiting. Regarding the food, the chips were average, the cod was flavorless, and the batter was soggy. The mushy peas were also subpar. At a cost of over £11, I felt that it was a waste of money. As a first-time customer, I expected better service and quality. I am highly disappointed and caution others to not believe the hype. I will be returning to Bobbo's in Blackheath, as I believe their service and food are far superior.

This restaurant in Oldbury serves the best fish and chips. The staff are always friendly when you enter, and I recommend choosing the battered chips - you won't be disappointed.
