Pepe's Piri Piri - Sandwell

I decided to order takeout from this restaurant for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The food arrived quickly and was exactly as expected. I ordered a chicken burger with mozzarella dippers and a cheesecake for dessert. While the chicken burger and mozzarella dippers were delicious, the cheesecake did not meet my expectations as it tasted frozen. Despite this, I would still recommend ordering the chicken burger and mozzarella dippers again, just skip the dessert next time. Overall, a good experience with room for improvement.

The meal at this restaurant was excellent. The pita was delicious, with plenty of sauce and fresh lettuce. The wings were a bit small, as always with this restaurant, but they made up for it by giving an extra one, which was a nice surprise. The fries were, as usual, amazing, especially when paired with peri salt and sweet chili sauce. I also enjoyed the fact that the drinks were dispensed from a machine. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of peri peri food, especially when compared to Nando's.

Ordered a delivery for hot chicken platters this evening. We got no spice boiled chicken!!! Yes there wasn't even a nice char on the chicken as per usual. I'm not sure what was wrong today but the food was not upto standards at all....Even the pitta bread was chewy and one could break their teeth trying to bite through. The only edible and tasty dish was the fries.

Started with misleading advertising photos in the window, as it was a different price inside. Ordered chicken burgers and fries, burgers and fries turned up. Had to wait another mins for the other burgers and fries, specifically asked for...no Mayo or lettuce, oh yes, they turned up with lettuce and mayo! Then had to ask for plain buns to put the burgers in after wiping off the mayo. No atmosphere in there either, never again.

Ordered through just eat at confirmed for delivery. Text message at saying order cancelled. No reason why. Called shop and no answer. Safe to say I wont be using these again
