The Vault - Sandusky

12/22/21 Called ahead to see hours of operation.Phone message gave the hours opened until 9 PM.Arrived at 5:00 PM Only to find that The Vault was closed due to equipment malfunction.Because the phone message did not give current information, my date and I made FIFTY mile round trip for nothing..If you plan on going you won't know until you get there, if they're open or not.

Food is good, went on a Saturday, place was packed and they needed more wait staff. I ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich . Huge piece of chicken but not much Buffalo sauce on it. Would go back but not in a hurry.

Decent looking interior but sloooow and kitchen can't seem to cook to temperature. If you go there plan on an extra hour or two!!

The food was decent, but don't bother with a soft drink at $2.79 a piece with NO free refills (but you won't be told that as they bring them to you). Might as well have a glass of wine or a beer at those prices! (Food/drink prices not the same as the menu listed here)

Rolls undercooked,appetizers over cooked. My prime rib was medium well not medium rare. My guest filet mignon was the same. Wife’s sandwich had lettuce stalks instead of the leaf. She had to remove it to eat the sandwich and it made it 2 inches thinner and then the chicken was tough. Very unimpressed. I do not recommend it at all, big disappointment
