Bidrage med feedbackI returned to this restaurant for nostalgia reasons after being away for my university studies. I was surprised that the establishment looked better after renovation. The food was the same as before. Tasty broth, chewy noodles. However, to my horror, the waitress only said that this restaurant accepts only cash. At this age, who carries mainly cash? Not only that, the waitress ASKED what an e-wallet was. Luckily, I carried the exact total of cash because my main payment method is using e-wallet. My message to the owner, please implement card and e-wallet payments
The place itself is not bad, but the food uhh can be improved. Its taste is not authentic as it was. Mushroom, green vege, black fungus are missing! Below expectation.
After moving to Prima Square and changing ownership, most people agree that the standard has deteriorated. Now pork-free, they can attract a wider audience, but the pan mee broth has suffered from the switch to chicken. It lacks depth and the rich sweetness which a proper pan mee should have. Instead it tastes of ikan bilis stock bullion, and tons more MSG. The menu has expanded to include snacks, fried noodles, and various side dishes. At the counter in front they also sell polo buns. The taste of most dishes is similar to the usual outlets like The Boss and Tomato (read: like packet sauces). Favourites that originally used to be there e.g. teck pan pan mian (renamed to bring attention to the sizzling hotplate) and wanton mee are now unrecognisable. Prices are high, and portions have shrunk. Ordering a bowl of pan mee soup noodles used to come with an egg included, whereas now it is served without. The noodles thankfully are of similar quality but everything other component of the dish is a far cry to what it originally was. The high price felt like the final nail in the coffin of what used to be a much-beloved dish. Even the polo buns sold at the counter were RM3.60 each (as at December 2017), and the only thing worth remembering about it is the burn from the massive hole in my pocket. And the rudeness and laziness of the wait staff in the whole dining experience merely rubs chili salt into the wound. Not worth returning unless you are looking for halal pan mee (then I understand, yes it's nice enough to come) or they slash the prices in half.

The pan mian seems nice but quite masin The environment is good but few guys are chatting loudly and it ruins my mood
