Bidrage med feedbackDuring our travels through Tucson, we stumbled upon a vegan restaurant that piqued our curiosity. However, our journey to culinary bliss was not without its twists and turns, as we encountered some confusion regarding the establishment 's hours of operation. Despite this initial hiccup, our culinary adventure commenced with high hopes and hungry bellies. After consulting various sources-including the website and HappyCow-we still found ourselves uncertain about the restaurant 's hours. A call to verify only added to the confusion, as we received yet another set of timings. Nevertheless, undeterred by this minor setback, we decided to dive into the menu and ordered two vegan renditions of our all-time favorite sandwiches: the Tuno Melt and the French Dip. Let 's start with the star of the show-the Tuno Melt. As avid fans of this classic sandwich, we were eager to see how the vegan version would measure up. To our delight, the Tuno Melt exceeded our expectations. The combination of flavors and textures was expertly crafted, with the tuna filling remarkably reminiscent of the real deal. On the other hand, the French Dip failed to impress as much as its counterpart. While it certainly satisfied our cravings for a hearty sandwich, it lacked the depth of flavor and richness we had hoped for. The side of tater tots was perfect Crispy hot with extra flavors Overall, our experience at this vegan establishment was a mixed bag. While the Tuno Melt soared to culinary heights, the French Dip merely treaded water. If you find yourself passing through Tucson and craving a vegan stop, I would recommend giving this restaurant a try, especially for the Tuno Melt. Just be sure to double-check their hours beforehand to avoid any confusion.
A casual spot (with both canned and tap beer) with plenty of plant-based options. Extra bonus is the market, with vegan freezer items you can take home for later.
What a surprise! The food and staff were wonderful. The Reuben was probably the best vegan version I've ever had. Dessert was incredible and worth the caloric splurge.
First visit. Couldn't decide what to try but based on what others said had the French Dip plus tots. Both very good. The Kreamy Dreamy Kale smoothie was also great. My spouse had the Tuno Melt plus Sweet Potato fries. For later we also got the brownie, which although a little over cooked was very good. We live within 10 minutes of this deli so already planning what to have next time :
They had so many options to pick! I had the western burger and was good!
