Taham - SAN VITO LO CAPO

I walked around looking for something to eat. Finally, I decided to give this restaurant an attempt. let me be very clear here from the beginning, the waiter was a really nice guy, he was the only person walking around like a headless chicken, while the owners inside were a good laugh. the food was terrible, the worst steak I had ever lived in all my life, the teller description on the menu and what she got on the teller was completely different, in the round a ripped off!!! very expensive restaurant for a lousy eating, as I arrived in san vito lo capo, I had the best eating and this restaurant could not supply what it was supposed to be. good location, but unfortunately terrible eating .

We chose this restaurant for its pleasant position and great look. and it was the best surprise of our trip to san vito lo capo. we ordered both a court with lame, which won a contest in Tunisia “stinco di agnello be arancia”. fantastic!. really wonderful and it was the best dinner of all our vacations. and to complete, they have a special cold tee that I never tasted and really delicious. super recommended!

This place was recommended by a local. had the 7-course menu. no taste, a lively waitress = no service. a meal (fish) was so hard that we could not cut it. all pasta meal times. 120 euro /2 people incl. wine

We were recommended to eat here by the Hotel who took a kick-back from the restaurant. I work in the restaurant business so know how they work. The waitress gave us bread and water without asking (therefore opening a bill for us). When our order...arrived it was all inedible. The meat were the poorest cuts (chicken and lamb), they were undercooked and the couscous tasted like it was reheated from earlier in the day. For five main courses and two very average glasses of white wine we charged an OUTRAGEOUS €110. This is what we would expect to pay in a big city of in a fine restaurant not in some small holiday place. We complained that none of us had finished our food because it was inedible and rather than being embarrassed they refused to take anything off the bill. These people are charlatans not restauranteurs. This is one of the worst restaurant we have ever been in and people should know NOT TO EAT HERE. The quality of the people is poor, the food even worse and the prices ridiculous. For a country with such a wonderful food culture this restaurant should be shut down.

Great food and super friendly staff. A change of pace from all the pasta and fish we've been having. Delicious lamb kebab, couscous was lovely, as was the sausage with harissa sauce.
