Le Sorelle - SAN VITO LO CAPO

The food was fantastic. Very nice pizza, worth the prices. We ordered loaded fries and a couple of croquettes to come with the meal, but they came about 15 mins before the pizzas. It happens! The service was not unpleasant, but was rather non existent. After taking our order, we were never again offered more drinks, nobody offered condiments, nobody came back to check if our meals were good. This was inexcusable because we were early for dinner at 7pm we were a table of four, there was another table of four right next to us, and all other tables including the large outside dining area were empty. There were more staff than customers. We sat for ten minutes with empty plates as the staff took it in turns to look over, but nobody came over. Eventually, our plates were cleared. We sat another ten minutes, nobody offered desserts or coffee or extra drinks so we had to ask for the bill. Nobody came back to take payment, so we approached the till to find a member of staff fast asleep at the counter. We woke her up and said excuse me, can we pay the bill? She glared at us like she was going to kill us she didn’t speak, got up to get someone else to pay off the bill and she went to stand behind the bar where she glared at us and our two teens making us feel very uncomfortable indeed. Such a shame, because we went last year for my son’s birthday and this was his choice again for his birthday. As I said, the food was delicious so the service really is letting this restaurant down. As we walked back up the Main Street to see all of the restaurants bustling and busy, it made us realise why there were still only a handful of tables taken at Sorelle. The restaurant staff are clearly lacking the leadership of a good manager.

We are there twice during our stay and loved the pizza, having the quattro formaggi twice and a Sicilian once. We were the it two in there, but then it is the 'off ' season. The food was good value and the waiter was a pleasant chap. Recommended.

The restaurant is rather far from the city centre. With good service though it is more of a pizza place rather than a restaurant. As the pizza is delicious though the rest of the food is modest. I personally recommend only going to the restaurant for pizza.

Pizze non buonissime, prezzi leggermente alti. Non valuterei la pizzeria come prima scelta.

Trovato per caso tra i locali vicini al nostro hotel, ci siamo trovati bene. Ottimi e abbondanti i primi, buone le pizze, non troppo abbondanti gli antipasti. Locale lontano dalla calca dei turisti e per questo con un occhio particolare alla qualità.
