Bar Restaurante Degollada De Peraza

We checked on the website that it would open prior to starting a walk from here and having it recommended. Unfortunately it is closed and apparently has been for some time.

Perched on a hilltop , you have a wonderful view of the surroundings enjoying your coffee and cakes . They are made on the premises and as only one “ good “ donut was left , the waiter recommended an apple cake in stead . He could not have told us and we would not have been the wiser . He was nice , trying to speak English to my trying to speak Spanish . A peaceful and happy resting moment on a beautiful day .

On your way from Puerto de Santiago to San Sebastian, this is a good place to stop for an inexpensive potaje de berros (watercress soup with lots of cumin) and carne con papas (long slow cooked shin of beef with potatoes and some red pepper, with cumin). It is the San Sebastian side of the viewpoint Degollada de Peraza. Tasty comfort food with friendly service.

Lo siento, solo paré a tomar café . Hace muchos años que no como aquí. Antes estaba bien pero ahora no sé, también ha cambiado de dueños creo. Pero es un sitio de Interés turístico.

A pesar de algunos comentarios negativos hacia este lugar , me ha sorprendido .La comida está muy buena , son muy agradables, los precios son asequibles y hay unas vistas muy buenas. Recomiendo ir y probar .Volveré a ir ,Muchas gracias.
