Salt Straw - San Ramon

Very interesting ice cream creations. My daughter loves the regular ice cream flavors. It's her special treat first choice. I love the vegan ice creams and sorbets. My favorite so far is the Marionberry and coconut. I wish they had more vegan choices. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The set up is easy to grab and go and there is a small sitting area outside of the shop. Pints are also prepackaged if you want to just grab and go.

A great place to grab tasty ice cream! Their unique blends of flavors and generous portions make this spot a must visit !! Definitely try the standard chocolate or vanilla but the boutique flavors are also amazing! Friendly staff that keeps the line moving fast.

Mmmm, always love some ice cream from salt straw! This location was friendly and gave solid scoops! That's how you do it! Much appreciated to the staff. We enjoyed our double scoops in cups, it was a bit of a melty mess due to the weather, but tasty! I love that salt straw let's you get a split scoop, so I went with sea salt with caramel ribbons, honey lavender, and sour cherry pie (limited edition). We also had a double scoop of salted malted chocolate chip cookie dough. Flavors were delicious and creamy. They taste just like their description. So good!

Flavors are great, the staff is good, it just looks a little unkempt, not very inviting.

Love their selection and their monthly flavors. I love how unique their ice cream flavors are. I seriously look forward to all the new flavors they release every month. My favorites are when they add some sort of cake, brownie, or pie in their ice cream. Those are always a hit!
