A very unpretentious and no frills place! the staff were very friendly to us as outsiders and the food was super enjoyable. that’s pretty much what makes me rate this place 5 stars. affordable compared to other options in this area. Also the margaritas are amazing. 10/10 especially the frozen Mojito margaritas made with yerba buena.

Excellent Food, Average Service, Good Drinks and Moderate Price We had dinner at this place twice during our Costa Rica Vacation. Very fresh and tasty food.Better food and moderate price compared to the place we were staying (Marriott). Bilingual staff, not very friendly and service is very average. Menu is bilingual so We could make our own choices.

Worst food ever . -5 stars . Ordered Classic margarita “ they asked me if i Wanted it frozen. I said no , classic margaritas don’t come frozen . That should have been my sign to leave . I ordered “tico tacos “ which was deep fried dog food with mayonnaise and salsa that tasted Like SpaghettiOs. One bite , I spit it out. Ran to the bathroom and tried not to throw up . They made me pay for everything I couldn’t eat . I went to the gas station and got a better meal

Food was really good, though it’s not really true Mexican food, and we thought it was really well priced as compared to other tourist destinations in Costa Rica and visiting from the U.S. Seemed a bit understaffed but our server did a good job keeping up. Great margs too, and convenient location across the street from Marriott hotels close to the airport.

We had a really good torta here. Everything was well seasoned and made to order. The Jamaica drink was delish.
